Nevertheless overall Download Festival was an amazing experience. Me and my cousin decided to gent some lunch. If you have a standard weekend ticket then you will not be allowed through our hallowed gates until 8am Friday. Thankfully Slam Dunk allowed them to go on past curfew so they were able to play their set in full.
Taking Back Sunday were the penultimate band to take to the main stage. As I wanted to have a change in the music genre. Plus Rob, Si and I were asked to do a video interview straight after getting up on stage to collect the award, I would love to see the tape!

Down was one of my favourite acts. We found a great spot to camp and once the last tent peg was in, and the krrang were inflated, off we went to explore trees, quickly discovering that OneHugeTree was probably a better name!
I was shivering all over. Now what are boob flashes? Now to reach the main stage, it was a kilometer walk.

Had some ham sandwiches and slept off. Because we are the cunts of nature! A lot of people were surprised to see a little kid in between the crowd. I kept walking in the bitter cold. Malefice looked disappointed due to the rain. It sounded too good to be true.
More info is available on our website here. Now, Download Festival has a lot of stages. I was trying to contact my friend who was staying in the camp. This time there were 5 stages. Okay kerrag, I've lost my Enter Shikari autographs, kill me now. Cody Carson, lead singer, made his way into the crowd and trusted them all enough to let them hold him up. This beautiful festival really encapsulates everything you need from a smaller, more intimate event.

I was not disappointed. With the wailing guitars frantically mashing a million more notes than you can even comprehend, it was a wall of noise which was oh so etnt.
